Heritage Academy ESA | Kinsta WordPress POC

Custom ESA front end. WordPress editing layer.

This coded theme demonstrates the hybrid architecture: the premium ESA React/Vite marketing site can stay on AWS while Kinsta WordPress handles editable news, staff, and operational content.

The Better Hybrid

Heritage gets WordPress editing without sacrificing the ESA experience.

This proof-of-concept does not convert the ESA site into WordPress. It shows how WordPress can own selected editable content while the high-end marketing site remains a custom application.

01

AWS React/Vite front end

The premium ESA brand experience, motion, media, admissions pages, and conversion flow remain custom coded.

02

Kinsta WordPress content layer

Editors manage news, updates, staff profiles, and future content through familiar WordPress screens.

03

Native pages instead of iframes

WordPress output is styled with branded PHP templates, keeping content shareable, indexable, and visually aligned.

Editable Where It Matters

Use WordPress for content that changes. Keep the brand system coded.

Stays coded

  • ESA homepage, admissions funnel, and high-impact media sections
  • Premium interactions, performance tuning, and campaign landing pages
  • Design system, typography, CTAs, and conversion-focused layout

Becomes editable

  • News, event updates, admissions reminders, and announcements
  • Staff and coach profiles using native WordPress fields
  • Future evergreen pages where editorial control matters most

Why Not a Full Rebuild?

A full WordPress rebuild would solve the wrong problem.

The ESA marketing site already benefits from a custom React/Vite build: strong art direction, tailored sections, controlled performance, and a premium athletic feel. The missing piece is an editor-friendly layer for content that changes after launch.

This Kinsta proof keeps those responsibilities separated. WordPress gives Heritage publishing control without forcing the entire brand experience into a page builder.

Client Demo Ready

The pitch is simple: keep the premium site, add the editable layer.

This WordPress theme is intentionally coded, lightweight, and direct. It proves Heritage can edit selected content in WordPress while preserving the ESA marketing site as a custom AWS-hosted experience.
